This week I got to explore Copyrights and Creative Commons. I have
put together a small clip made from all creative common images to show the
importance of the topic.
Now days with everything we do online, it is important for us to
realize that there are laws for digital content as well. The most
important law for digital users is Copyright. This law prevents others
from taking your work and using it as their own. There is also creative
commons law. This law allows others to take your work and modify it for their
own use, with crediting it to you. Without
properly citing work when using other people’s images, videos, and music, can
lead to punishable charges. Citing work
leads back to a key digital responsibility where giving credit where credit is
due. Therefore by following all laws we can become better digital citizens.
